The food is unique, yet familiar (not like a menu of things so foreign you’re afraid to try). The wine, excellent ( they’ll give you a taste if you’re not sure). But be sure to save room for desert, and be prepared to be amazed. Note: it’s loud here, so not the best first date location. Second date, sure!
A perfect taste of France in America. Superb service and beautifully French dishes, including the country pâté. Don’t worry, the crème brûlée is perfection and not to be skipped over. Our grandson cleaned all of his MANY plates. The dessert gift brought us all to tears for reasons I leave private.
The meal was superb and the ambience was just nice and modest. The staff are just too pleasant. The meal is very good and delicious.
I was overwhelmed! First time in DC, my first meal here…. I felt so lucky!! Found you!!! Awesome services ????warmly! Delicious food! Un-expected price!( Thought more expensive in this area and with this good quality service and fancy restaurant) We have 3 adults and 2 kids. Boys looooove spaghetti and Mac and cheese!!! Me222! Believe me! They are not like regular spaghetti and Mac and cheese!! If you have kids! ???? try it!!!
Came on a Saturday night for a date night, ordered fried chicken, Gougères, and mac and cheese. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. We were helped by Richard who was fantastic! Great place for a date night ❤️
As a party of three, we started with the cheese puffs and these were excellent - very rich though. To start I had the lyonnaise salad and this was incredible- we have been to Lyon and this was just as delicious as there signature dish. We also had a lobster bisque special which was the best ever tasted and we have eaten a lot of them around the world. For main we all had chicken dishes and they were excellent, although the chicken schnitzel is huge-bigger than our head . Desserts were excellent too, pictures to follow :
Everything we tried was excellent. The fried fish had a light crispy batter and no grease. The calamari was perfectly prepared with a slightly spicy tomato-based sauce that was wonderful. Even the goat cheese salad was interesting. Excellent service, too. The decor is classy, subtle, and well lit, but it gets noisy.
My boyfriend and I love going on dates here. Amazing atmosphere and service. I usually get the burger but recently got the curry and would not recommend.
Just came back( first time in a while) Fried Chicken was fabulous , like always .Kale Caesar great.Excellent service.One of the best restaurants in DC.Some of the best fried chicken anywhere.Easily as good as Strouds in Kansas City(just different)Mashed potatoes with the chicken...amazing
